Malaysia Pargo of “Basketball Wives L.A.” Shares Photos of her Real Hair – NO Extensions!

There’s nothing like a good sew-in, lace front, or half wig.  Am I right or am I right, girls?  Just ask Tami Roman of “Basketball Wives Miami,” who recently launched her own line of hair weaves in partnership with Crème de -la Crème.  The misconception, however, is that black women who wear hair extensions don’t have (or can’t grow) their own long hair.  I’ve had waist length hair in the past, and still clipped in a hair extension or two for photo shoots simply for the fullness my fine-textured hair would otherwise not achieve.

Recently Malaysia Pargo took to Twitter and showed us that just because she enjoys her occasional sew-in for television and media appearances doesn’t mean she’s bald.  She twitpic’d photos of her natural hair (which is 100% chemical free – no relaxer) just before getting extensions put in by her stylist Kesha levy.

She has really healthy hair, it seems. That’s great that she takes good care of it, even with the extensions.

She sure does. And Im sure that’s why her hair is so healthy/long, because she’s been wearing this protective style (ie, weave) for so long.

She has beautiful hair! I would not be sporting a weave. But let me shut up cuz mine is long but I just take it down, wash and throw it back in.

She sure does! But Im guessing the weave is to protect from all the heat styling that must be used to maintain her look for TV/Media Appearances. Imagine if she kept her natural hair out, and every time she made an appearance they were putting a flat iron or curling iron to it. She’d be bald. So the weave is actually best for her, you know? Im guessing that in her free, off-camera time she wears her natural hair, around the house and things.

yay! she’s so gorgeous, and i’m envious of that hair! something told me her hair was real…maybe not always 100% on the show, but you could tell it was very shiny and healthy and had some length. plus u know those “hood” princesses always keep their hair fly!!

Yeah, the best looking weaves are the ones where you have your own hair with it, and it’s long enough to blend in naturally with the weave! Very gorgeous.

There is something about Malaysia Pargo that I really like. She doesn’t seem to try to hard to be something she’s not. Also I think she is pretty. She’s got that beautiful sista girl swagg going on. (on a side note, when I saw her on the first episode, she kinda reminded me of a young Robin Givens. But after seeing her more, not so much anymore)

Well she definitely has the Robin Givens cheekbones. Maybe that’s what reminded you of her?
I agree, she’s just as sweet as she is beautiful.
